DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A 41-year-old man was airlifted after a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Sidney.
According to the Piqua Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened in the 150 block of West Michigan Street (at the Speedway) east of I-75 at approximately 1:40 a.m.
The initial investigation found a 2026 Hyundai Kona, driven by a man from New Concord, Kentucky, was trying to enter the road from the gas station lot. A 2025 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle heading east hit the Hyundai as it entered Michigan Street.

Officials spoke to 2 NEWS partner On Scene 24 at the crash. They said the cyclist, a 41-year-old man from Sidney, was seriously injured. He was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Hospital, where he was then airlifted by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital…
