Man shot during dispute in Butler County; hospitalized

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A man was shot in the leg in Butler County on Monday morning after a dispute.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office crews were dispatched to the 6800 block of Lakota Pointe Lane in Liberty Twp. at approximately 5:30 a.m. for a reported active dispute in front of a home.

The 911 caller told crews a 27-year-old man was shot in the leg. The crews found the man, who they said was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics took him to the UC West Chester Hospital for treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries. His name is not being released by officials at this time, and officials did not share his current condition.
