MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — A “high-value, low-price fitness club” is planning its first Ohio location near the Dayton Mall.
Vasa Fitness submitted a proposal to the Miami Township Zoning Commission involving a proposed location spanning over 50,000 square feet at 2070 Miamisburg Centerville Road in Miami Township.
Value City Furniture was the previous longtime tenant at the South Towne Centre space. 2 NEWS reported in late 2025 that the store closed in January as part of its parent company’s bankruptcy filing.
Documents obtained by this outlet show the applicant wants to change the façade as part of its “larger interior remodel to a fitness center.” Updates to the façade would include aspects like new signage, repainting and adding “vertical architectural “fins.””…
