The family of Wilberforce University student Savanna Jones is filing a lawsuit against the school after she allegedly died during a hazing ritual in April. According to the Dayton Daily News, Jones’ family named several parties in their lawsuit. One of the defendants is Keigan Evans, who serves as director of housing and residence life at the school. The family said in their lawsuit that Evans participated in the hazing and encouraged the fatal incident. At least 30 unnamed people also face accusations in the lawsuit.
The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in Greene County, Ohio, 13 ABC reported.
