Uninvolved man shot during altercation in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Officials are working to learn more after a man was shot late Saturday night near Germantown Pike and Liscum Drive.

According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, a shots-fired call came in at approximately 11:40 p.m. The initial caller said a woman was shooting a gun. It was upgraded to a shooting call after a man was shot.

2 NEWS spoke with officials on scene, who told us there was a fight between a group of people who had gone down the road to the area in front of the apartment.

Allegedly, a person involved in the fight took out a gun and shot at the group of people. An uninvolved man, who was nearby, was shot. He was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries…
