An Air Quality Alert is in effect for the entire Miami Valley through Friday. Wildfire smoke, from fires northwest of Lake Superior, will continue to spread unhealthy air across the Buckeye state.
Friday starts dry, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are more likely in the afternoon and evening hours. Surface winds will turn to the south during the day, and that should begin to improve air quality later in the afternoon and evening.
