A new discount retailer is set to fill the empty storefront left behind at Riverside’s Airway Shopping Center, with Ollie’s Bargain Outlet opening its doors Thursday, September 10, where Big Lots once stood. The grand opening kicks off with a ribbon cutting at 8:45 a.m., and the new location promises brand-name closeouts at steep discounts for local shoppers.
According to WHIO TV, the new Riverside store will offer brand-name closeouts, snacks, books, household essentials, toys, home décor and more, with prices up to 70% off what shoppers would pay at what a store spokesperson called “fancy stores.” The spokesperson said the new location gives local shoppers the opportunity to stretch their budgets further. The store sits on Woodman Drive in the Airway Shopping Center, a strip mall that also includes Dollar Tree, Planet Fitness, and AutoZone, as noted by Commercial Search.
