Dayton water rescue teams and medics were dispatched at 6:04 a.m. near North Main Street Bridge on initial reports of a water rescue.
Dayton Fire District Chief Chris Kinzeler told News Center 7′s Kayla McDermott that this investigation started after a 911 call was made in Warren County. The caller allegedly told dispatchers that they saw a live stream video of someone jumping off a bridge that appeared to be in Dayton.
As reported Friday on News Center 7′s Daybreak, the water levels are lower than normal on the Great Miami River.
At this time, it does not appear that anyone has been found. Investigators have also not been able to find the alleged video showing the jump.
We have reached out to the Dayton Fire Department for more information.
News Center 7 will continue to provide updates.
