DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A woman’s dog is dead, and she was injured after a dog bite attack on Thursday.
According to the Dayton Police Department’s Sgt. Jared King, crews were called for an animal bite complaint on the 1200 block of Weng Avenue on May 9. This call was made for the incident, which initially happened on May 7.
The 76-year-old woman told officers she was walking her 8-year-old miniature schnauzer dog, and an unknown dog attacked them. She drove her dog to a nearby veterinary clinic, but it died from its injuries.
