Don’t fall for the new ‘banking spoof call’ scam

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A new phone scam is targeting people and their wallets across the nation.

Over the last few weeks, there has been an uptick in fraudulent telephone calls from people impersonating financial institutions. The scam is called “banking spoof calls.”
