Trauma after bomb threats can cause unseen damage to students, parents, teachers

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The state of Ohio has seen multiple school threats over the past week, including four at Kettering elementary schools last Friday.

While the threats proved empty, the situations can still have lasting effects.

Dr. Sandra Todd, a pediatric psychologist with Dayton Children’s, said the trauma and anxiety can impact not just students but parents and teachers as well.
