Arrest made after 2 Rockdale County high schools put under lockdown for bomb threats

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A person has been arrested after two Rockdale County high schools were put on lockdown due to bomb threats, according to the sheriff’s office.

Rockdale County High School and Heritage High School were both targeted, according to deputies and the Conyers Police Department.

Deputies said they were able to track down the suspect in the Rockdale County High School case through the phone number used in the threat. The person, who has not been identified, is likely experiencing a mental health crisis, according to the sheriff’s office…
