This week, the Town Center Community Improvement District provided a first look at its upcoming 30-year master plan at its annual State of the District.
The CID is entering its 30th year of operation in 2027. CID leaders met at the Governors Gun Club in Kennesaw to recap some key achievements from its first three decades, and offer a look ahead to the future.
The CID serves a roughly 6.25-square-mile area in unincorporated Cobb County and Kennesaw, and includes Town Center Mall. The district, founded in 1997, self-imposes a 5-mill property tax on commercial properties in order to fund infrastructure and community development…
