On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at approximately 11:44 p.m., the City of Forest Park Police Department responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Forest Parkway and Frontage Road.
Upon arrival, personnel from the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office were providing life-saving aid to the victim. City of Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services transported the victim to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Despite their efforts, the victim later died.
Detectives immediately launched an investigation. Video footage from the department’s integrated FUSUS camera system showed no evidence of malice or foul play. After conducting several interviews, investigators determined there was no negligence on the part of the driver. As a result, no arrests were made…
