GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A grand jury has indicted an alleged gang member in the killing of Gwinnett County police officer, according to the Gwinnett County district attorney’s office. Another officer was wounded in the February shooting.
Prosecutors intend to seek the death penalty when this case goes to trial against Kevin Andrews Jr. The 35-year-old faces malice murder, felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of unlawful criminal gang activity, and other charges.
