JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — A former Mountain View Town Council member goes on trial Wednesday, accused of shooting a teenager in the face after the boy and a friend went on his property seeking permission to take homecoming photos.
Brent Metz, 40, faces four felony counts – second-degree assault, two counts of menacing, and illegal discharge of a firearm.
