Denver weather: Sunny and hot on Saturday

DENVER (KDVR) — Sunny skies continue Friday afternoon along with those warm temperatures, all as Denver awaits an even hotter day on Saturday with storms along the plains.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy

Some of the passing clouds linger Friday night, but skies are mostly clear. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 50s with a light wind.

Weather Saturday: Sunny and hot, storm chances east

Saturday kicks off the weekend with morning sunshine, afternoon clouds and hot highs in the lower 90s.

Denver could see an isolated storm, but the higher threat for those storms are along the eastern plains. Some of those storms could be on the severe end with large hail, gusty winds and even some isolated tornadoes.

Looking ahead: Spotty storms and mild

Sunday is more seasonal as highs reach the mid-80s with sunny skies.

Monday has partly to mainly sunny skies with warm highs in the mid-80s and chances for a quick storm. Tuesday is a comfy afternoon with highs in the lower 80s and partly cloudy skies.

Wednesday is back to seasonal highs in the mid-80s with a mix of sun and clouds. The small chance for a storm is back on Thursday with warm highs in the upper 80s and sunny skies…
