Man killed in Oneida Street shooting identified in GoFundMe as father of four

Eleslie Swain, a husband and father of four, was reportedly the person who died in a Wednesday morning shooting near the 2000 block of North Oneida Street, according to a GoFundMe published Friday.

“On September 2, 2026, Eleslie Swain was taken from his family in a heartbreaking act of violence,” the GoFundMe read. “Eleslie was a devoted husband and father, and the sole provider for his family of five.
