For 80 years, La Popular has been part of Denver’s food story, serving tamales and other Mexican favorites to generations of customers. Now, the longtime Denver institution is inviting the community to celebrate its milestone anniversary with a day filled with food, festivities, and plenty of local flavor.
La Popular’s 80th anniversary celebration will take place on September 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., bringing family and friends together for an afternoon centered around one of the city’s longtime food traditions.
