The car show at Broomfield Days promises another day of classic rides shown off for a good cause.
Put on by Senior Resources of Broomfield, the show attracts a mix of makes and models, both classic and modern. The event is an annual fundraiser for the nonprofit, which works to improve quality of life for Broomfield’s older adults, according to its website.
The show’s beginnings date to the early 2000s, amid an effort to get seniors’ cars checked on to ensure their safety. The car show’s founder, Tom Fahrenbruch, had called in some friends with classic cars to make the safety check an exciting occasion.
