Fans Outraged by Jamal Murray’s Dangerous Bench Behavior During Game 2

Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets were taken back to school in the first half of Game 2 Monday night. Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves suffocated the defending champs en route to a 61-35 halftime lead.

In the second quarter, Murray was caught on camera throwing a heat pack onto the court. There wasn’t a delay of game. There wasn’t a technical foul. There wasn’t even a warning. Murray got away with it.

The refs letting Murray’s action slide is indefensible. Adam Silver must get involved and discipline the Nuggets star for his actions.

It’s not like the heat pack barely made it onto the court, either. Murray threw it directly into the action and it almost caused Karl-Anthony Towns to slip on his way to the rim.

Should the NBA suspend Jamal Murray for Game 3? Some fans are making the argument.

The defending champs have lost their composure, which is rare for a team coming off a championship run last season. Maybe they invested too much into the Lakers series?
