JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – An investigation is underway after an inmate died at the Jefferson County Detention Facility early Wednesday morning.
At 4:15 a.m., the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) said a deputy found an inmate unresponsive in her bunk during routine cell checks.
Deputies said they and medical staff initiated CPR and administered Narcan. EMS arrived and took over lifesaving efforts, but deputies said she was not able to be revived…
