Dangerous heat will cause concerns for the Sioux Falls tristate area.
According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, a Heat Advisory remains in effect until 9:00 PM CDT Monday for portions of southeast South Dakota, northwest Iowa, and northeast Nebraska.
Communities including Viborg, Hurley, Canton, Milford, Wakefield, Inwood, Rock Rapids, Sioux Falls, Harrisburg, Tea, Irene, Marion, Ponca, Chancellor, Larchwood, George, Yankton, Allen, Lennox, Spirit Lake, Vermillion, Parker, Sibley, Arnolds Park, and Centerville should prepare for dangerous heat and humidity throughout the day.
