DES MOINES, Iowa — Parmesan ice cream? Berry grilled cheese? Caviar and chicken nuggets? Those are just some of the new foods you’ll find at the Iowa State Fair this year.
On Tuesday, fair officials released their new foods list for the 2026 Iowa State Fair. There are over 80 new foods from nearly 200 stands. The fair said there are also four new vendors and five new food stands this year.
The new foods include:

- 1776 Parmesan Ice Cream from Bubbly
- Affogato from the Biscuit Bar
- All-American Scrambled Egg Roll from Winn & Sara’s Kitchen
- Amaretto Ice Cream, Cake Batter with Chocolate Cake Balls, and Birthday Cake Batter Ice Cream from The Bird’s Nest
- America’s “Berry” Good Grilled Cheese from What’s Your Cheez
- Banana Cream Fries from Taylor Concessions
- BBQ Pulled Pork Cheddar Corn Bread Waffle from Old West Roadhouse BBQ
- Bedrock Twist from Smith’s
- Belgian Chocolate Covered Strawberries from The Strawberry Station
