WINDSOR HEIGHTS, Iowa — Authorities say a fire that broke out in a Windsor Heights home on Tuesday caused roughly $128,000 in damage.
The Windsor Heights Fire Department says fire crews were dispatched to a fire around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday to a residence in the 1200 block of 64th Street. Additional information reported visible smoke coming from the home.

Fire crews arrived on scene and found that the resident of the home had made it outside prior to their arrival. It was also determined that smoke, but no visible flames, could be seen coming from the exterior.
