DES MOINES, Iowa — A car crashed and rolled Wednesday evening at the MLK bridge in Des Moines.

The incident reportedly took place shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday. Witnesses and Des Moines Police Department officers on scene told WHO 13 News crews that a white sedan was heading westbound toward Principal when it clipped the inclined guardrail.
The car then rode up the concrete guardrail before eventually flipping between the two bridges and landing on its side just shy of the water, the DMPD said.
