DES MOINES — The 2026 Iowa State Fair will run Aug. 13-23, bringing 11 days of agriculture, food, competitions, rides and entertainment to the fairgrounds in Des Moines.
Visitors can reduce admission costs by buying tickets before the fair. Advance admission is $11 for adults ages 12 and older and $7 for children ages 6-11. Gate admission is $16 for adults and $10 for children.
Advance admission remains available through 11:59 p.m. Aug. 12, according to the Iowa State Fair. Each ticket provides one admission on any day of the fair. Children younger than 6 do not have a published admission charge on the fair’s ticket page…
