Iowa Guard Eyes Future Missions

The Iowa National Guard is looking ahead to the next generation of military operations as new technology and evolving threats reshape the nation’s defense strategy.

Leaders from across Iowa gathered at the 132d Wing in Des Moines for a legislative outreach event that brought together government officials, military leaders and private-sector representatives. The event provided an opportunity to discuss the Guard’s role in preparing for future missions.
