(Des Moines) A Flood Watch will be in effect beginning at 7 a.m. Monday and continuing through Tuesday morning across portions of southwestern, central, and northeastern Iowa.
The National Weather Service says excessive rainfall could produce flash flooding, with rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying or flood-prone areas potentially affected.
