Junior Elliotte Von Roden is amongst the top Cross Country runners at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School, and shares her biggest hurdle with the sport.
The Tigers have participated in three races up to this point, opening in Johnston on August 29th, then ran at Central College in Pella on September 5th, and recently competed at the Gilbert Invitational in Ames this past Thursday.
Von Roden ran 21 minutes and 38 seconds at the Sunrise Invite in Johnston, then a 22:36 in Pella, and a season’s best of 21:08 in Ames so far this season. The hardest part of running for her is similar to a lot of other athletes that are out there racing…
