URBANDALE, Iowa — Authorities say two pedestrians were seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Urbandale Friday night.

The Urbandale Police Department says officers were called to the 4300 block of 86th Street around 9:15 p.m. Friday on reports of a vehicle and pedestrian crash.
Authorities say the preliminary investigation shows that the pedestrians were crossing 86th Street north of Aurora Avenue when they were struck by a vehicle heading northbound.
