ANKENY, Iowa — The Ankeny Fire Department responded to 30 calls in a 24-period as severe storms moved through central Iowa.
Between 7 a.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday, the department responded to five building fires, two of which required help from additional fire stations, according to the city of Ankeny.
