Lexington man faces additional felony in incident with bail bond agents

ROSEVILLE — A man who allegedly had a confrontation with bail bond agents at a Roseville gas station in June will be facing another charge after prosecutors added it in 39th District Court last week.

According to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, on June 18, bail bond agents attempted to take 45-year-old Aaron Hildreth, of Lexington, Michigan, into custody at the Marathon gas station at 12 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue in Roseville after he allegedly failed to comply with conditions of his bond. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Hildreth allegedly attempted to flee in his vehicle and crashed into an agent’s vehicle as the agent was preparing to exit it.

“The agent became pinned between the two vehicles and the agent’s open vehicle door,” a press release states.

The release states that Hildreth then struck the agent’s vehicle a second time, at which point another agent broke the driver’s-side window of Hildreth’s vehicle and discharged a firearm, striking Hildreth in the arm…
