Photos: Doughboyz Cashout celebrates its Detroit legacy at El Club

Detroit hip-hop group Doughboyz Cashout held the first of two performances titled, “The Legacy Concert,” at the El Club on Friday. Beginning in the 2010s, DBC captivated the city with youthful swagger, street anthems, and raw lyrics. Their projects, We Run the City, Chances Make Champions and No Deal on Chill quickly became fan favorites.

Members Big Quis, Chaz Bling, Clay, Scooch, HBK, Dre, and Freddy K kicked off the night entering the stage one at a time performing their verses from “Da Mob,” then going into “Dope Man” and “In The Bitch.” During their 90 minute set, the group was joined on stage by producer Helluva and featured guests Baby Money and Tay- B. Youth rapper phenom Chace Bling and the up-and-coming duo 6MW both opened the show.

DBC closed the night out with their two biggest songs, “Good Ass Day,” and “Mob Life.”…
