Wayne County Schools delayed classes until Tuesday, August 25, for all K-12 students. Construction at Walker Early Learning Center caused the postponement. - Tues. Aug. 4 at WCMS 7th and 8th grade from noon to 6 p.m.
- Thurs. Aug. 6 at Monticello Elementary from noon to 6 p.m.
- Thurs. Aug. 6 at WCSM 6th grade from noon to 6 p.m.
- Thurs. Aug. 6 at WCHS from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Wayne County Board of Education meets August 20 to approve a revised calendar for the school district.
