“I’ve got a lot of history downriver; my dad was raised in Woodhaven and on Grosse Ile, when I moved to the Detroit area in 1988 my first two bands (Chutes & Ladders and SlugBug) were both downriver based, and I still have friends in and ties to the area,” said Jeremy Porter. “We can’t wait to play at Parts and Labor in Melvindale. We’ve been trying to get in there for a while and it finally worked out! Lisboa are some old pals from the 2000s and before who we go way back with, and the Checkered Lilies are some young ladies from the west side of the state who are doing an amazing job carrying the torch for the next generation! It’s going to be an epic night.”…
