Flood threeat spreads across northern Michigan

Good morning to you, it’s Wednesday morning.

Our weather forecast shows an expected high of 73 degrees. It will be a very warm with morning rain followed by a couple of showers and a thunderstorm this afternoon. Southeast Michigan is under a flood watch until 2 a.m. Friday.

Evacuation orders were issued for lower areas near the Cheboygan Dam late Tuesday afternoon, as earthen dams in the Little Black River watershed were failing amid the onrush of snow melt and rain.
