Texas man found with more than $16 million worth of meth in Wake County: Sheriff

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — More than $16 million worth of methamphetamine was seized during a multi-agency drug operation in Wake County Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a search in the 6100 block of Corporate Ridge Road near Raleigh with the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Cary Police Department.

The search led to the discovery of about 55 kilograms of methamphetamine which had an estimated street value of $16.3 million, according to the sheriff’s office…
