Burlington man faces multiple charges after shots fired during SWAT team response to home, deputies say

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A man accused of firing shots in Burlington on Sunday during a SWAT team response to a home faces multiple charges, according to an Alamance County Sheriff’s Office news release.

At 10:04 p.m., deputies responded to a report of domestic assault in the 2700 block of Hollybrook Drive.

The caller said her fiancé, identified as Dennis Alexander Esquivel, 26, of Burlington, had assaulted her and refused to let her and her children leave the home.
