DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A Durham family is mourning the death of a young woman who was shot and killed nearly a week ago along East Main Street.
DaShawna Williams, 23, and a man were shot just before 12:40 a.m. early Friday in the 900 block of East Main Street near Angier Avenue and Fayetteville Street, according to a Durham Police Department news release.
Williams died at a nearby hospital, police said Thursday. The wounded man was also taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, but there was no update about him on Thursday…
