Wisconsin’s offense was miserable last season, and no one could argue against you. It was one of the worst offenses in all of FBS college football and the worst statistical offense in the Power-4. So, watching players from that offense transfer away wasn’t a surprise. Trech Kekahuna was one of those players who decided to follow quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. to North Carolina. The grass looked a whole lot greener, and yet, through three games, Kekahuna made a big mistake.
Kekahuna was one of the few bright spots of the Wisconsin offense last season. He was the third-leading receiver in yardage at 211; he was also third in receptions at 26, and he led the team in all-purpose yardage with 340 yards. He would have been a featured part of the Wisconsin offense in 2026 but decided to take his chances in North Carolina.
So far, he’s barely been used. He only has six total receptions for 71 yards with zero touchdowns and zero carries. Last season, through three games in a miserable Wisconsin offense, Kekahuna had 11 touches for 118 total yards and a touchdown (rushing and receiving)…
