DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Construction crews are now working to restore and reopen the old Wheels Fun Park in Durham after it closed a few years ago. When you drive by the old park, you’ll now see park in progress signs put up by the City of Durham, which now owns the property. Construction crews recently started working on the old roller rink. Parks and Recreation director Wade Wulcutt tells CBS 17 it’ll open this fall.
