CLAREMORE, Okla. — The Hemmings Great Race cruised into Oklahoma Monday morning, making two stops in Green Country before heading down to the Oklahoma City metro area.
The Great Race, presented by Coker Tire, made its first stop of the day in Claremore at the Will Rogers Memorial museum around 11:40 a.m.
“We are thrilled to be hosting the Great Race as they travel along the Will Rogers Highway, Route 66,” said Tad Jones, Will Rogers Memorial Museum Director
Classic cars cruised down Route 66 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the historic Mother Road.
