Newest update to statewide DOT road, bridge work plan

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — There was a recent update to a two-decade-old plan working to improve roads and bridges across Oklahoma. Over the next five years, areas across the state will see nearly $1 billion in construction.

Summertime generally means you see a lot more of the orange cones come out, and plenty of folks across the metro are familiar with that right about now. The state department of transportation recently updated its County Improvement Plan for Roads and Bridges (CIRB), which will include plenty more in the years to come.
