A man was airlifted to an Oklahoma City hospital late Monday afternoon after he was struck by a pickup truck while riding an electric scooter on S. Division Street in Guthrie.
Guthrie police and firefighters were called to the busy roadway shortly after 4:30 p.m. for a collision between Grant and Lincoln avenues.
Emergency responders found the man in the roadway suffering from multiple head injuries. He was treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Logan County. From there, he was flown by medical helicopter to an Oklahoma City hospital for further treatment…
