OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The City of Oklahoma City and USA Softball broke ground on the Choctaw Nation Fieldhouse Thursday, a 30,000-square-foot indoor softball practice facility at Devon Park.
The $21 million project is funded through the $2.7 billion Oklahoma City 2025 Bond program and aims to secure the city as the home of the NCAA Women’s College World Series beyond 2035.
Located on the west side of Devon Park, the split-level brick building is set to feature two indoor practice infields, locker rooms, administrative offices, and dedicated space for sports medicine and player development.
An enclosed, climate-controlled connection will link the Fieldhouse to the main stadium, allowing athletes, coaches, and staff to transition between facilities without exposure to weather.
