OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — An Oklahoma law allows research institutions to take unclaimed animals from shelters for scientific research, unless a city has an opt-out ordinance in place.
Now, state lawmakers are taking a closer look at that law and whether it should change.
