OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A woman convicted in one of the most notorious mass murders remains in prison.
Family speaks out to keep convicted Sirloin Stockade murderer behind bars
Governor Kevin Stitt denied parole for Verna Stafford last week. Stafford said she went along with the murders, fearing that if she didn’t, her husband would not only kill her but their kids as well.
In a News 4 exclusive, the county’s former top prosecutor is reliving the Sirloin Stockade murders.
“She was essential to our being able to bring justice to this case,” said Andy Coats, former Oklahoma County District Attorney.
