OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma State Fair is almost here, and fairgoers will have plenty of new food creations to choose from this year.
More than 20 vendors brought their newest dishes together for a preview, giving News 9 a chance to sample some of the 50 new foods debuting when the fair opens.
From Korean BBQ and ramen to over-the-top desserts, here are some of the new foods you can try at the Oklahoma State Fair:
1. Korean BBQ Beef Skewer
Tender Korean BBQ-style beef served on a skewer.
2. Donut Smash Burger
A sweet-and-savory combination featuring a burger with a donut twist.
3. Scotch Egg-on-a-Stick
A fair-friendly take on the classic Scotch egg, served on a stick.
4. Sweet Heat Brisket Biscuit
A hearty brisket biscuit with a sweet-and-spicy kick.
5. Pork Chop on a Stick
A seasoned pork chop served on a stick, including a gluten-free seasoning option.
6. Birria Ramen
A combination of flavorful birria and ramen for a hearty fair meal.
7. Hot Honey Chicken Lemonade
A creative drink combining lemonade, honey and chicken-inspired flavors.
8. Alani Lemonade
A colorful lemonade creation topped with Nerds candy for an extra sweet-and-tangy kick.
9. Cheesecake Taco
A dessert that puts cheesecake inside a taco-style shell and tops it with chocolate.
10. K-Pop Marshmallow Ice Cream
A sweet frozen treat combining ice cream and marshmallow flavors.
