OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Oklahoma couple Richard “Dick” and Glenna Tanenbaum are celebrating a 1-million-dollar donation to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) honoring a shared milestone with the foundation.
The Tanenbaum’s say the OMRF donation marks more than a milestone year, highlighting that both began their stories in 1946, and after eight decades, the Tanenbaum’s are honoring Dick’s 80th birthday and commemorating OMRF’s 80th anniversary, helping to advance OMRF’s lifesaving medical research.
“There is something incredibly special about celebrating my 80th birthday at the same time OMRF is celebrating 80 years of medical research and discovery,” said Dick Tanenbaum. “Glenna and I wanted to mark the occasion in a way that could make a meaningful difference long after the birthday candles are gone. We can’t think of a better investment than supporting research that can improve and save lives.”…
